Inspired by Swami
Vivekananda's wonderful personality and soul-stirring
teachings, especially his spirited call to the youth
of India, a few devout souls headed by late Rama Varma
Appan Thampuran founded an organization called the
Vivekodayam Samajom in 1917. Eventually a primary
school was founded to realize the mission of the
Samajom. The swift-turning wheel of time bifurcated it
into two high schools-one for boys and the other for
girls. Great luminaries like Swami Chinmayananda, the
founder of Chinmaya Mission and Swami Ranganathananda,
the President of Ramakrishna Math have expressed their
indebtedness to this school for shaping their destiny.

the Visitor's Diary of this school. |
